The shallow Well #442 is a closed top cylinders designed for smaller diameter shallow depth wells made with 11 Gauge seamless brass tubing. The #442 plunger is all brass with hemispherical poppet; the check poppet is fitted with a special facing for a secure seal.

The #442 cylinder is all brass and is made from seamless brass tubing. Its flush cap design (no outside caps) allows you to install a larger cylinder in a smaller diameter well. The #442 all brass flush cap cylinders in 2", 2-1/4", 2-1/2" and 3" cylinder sizes tapped for 1-1/4" galvanized steel pipe and 7/16" steel pumping rod. 3" and 4" cylinders designed for installation with 2" galvanized steel pipe.
